Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Artem Yakovlev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boston Terrier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yakovlev has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Artem Yakovlev is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terrier will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Terrier should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Yakovlev gets a double leg takedown into Terrier's guard.
Yakovlev is breathing heavily.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Terrier wants to stand and escape but Yakovlev is having none of it.
Yakovlev postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Yakovlev has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Yakovlev gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Yakovlev dives in and scores a takedown into Terrier's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Terrier wants to get back to his feet but Yakovlev is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Yakovlev missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Terrier is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Yakovlev is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Yakovlev cracks Terrier with a solid left hand.

Terrier really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yakovlev. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Yakovlev drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Yakovlev seems to have locked his on tight now - Terrier screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Yakovlev, as he picks up the win!
