Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Durty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell's entrance music is Rza - Fatal. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durty misses with a series of wild punches.
Liddell lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Liddell looks to land a body kick but Durty moved away.
Lyoto Liddell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Liddell fails with an attempt to clinch.
Liddell swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Durty.
Liddell tries to score with a low kick but Durty moves his leg out of the way.
Liddell feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Durty's calf.
Liddell scores with a head kick. Durty tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Liddell scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Liddell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Durty was well out of range. Poor timing from Liddell.
The fighters circling - Liddell throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Durty feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Durty is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Liddell is just riding it out for now. Durty eventually gives up the hold.

Durty drops back, looking for a kneebar! Liddell looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Liddell looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Liddell!

Durty has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Liddell should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Durty has tightened it up now! Liddell should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
