Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Jammin Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Boxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ben Jammin Marley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mark Boxer! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boxer gets caught flat footed, as Marley shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Boxer trying to strike off his back.
Marley with a flurry of punches that miss. Boxer looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Marley passes into half guard. Marley wants to work for an arm triangle but Boxer is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Marley passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Boxer! Marley wants to control the pace but Boxer is squirming around nicely. Boxer is looking to get to half guard. Boxer tries to lock up and control but Marley gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Marley wants to control the pace but Boxer is squirming around nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boxer regains half guard. Marley is working for a kimura but Boxer is defending it quite comfortably.
Boxer is looking to get back to full guard here but Marley has managed to pass to side control instead. Marley working away. Boxer tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Boxer is desperately trying to improve his position but Marley has a good base and remains in mount. Marley lands with some strikes. Marley working for a guillotine from mount but Boxer is in no mood to give up. Boxer is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marley wants to finish this one by submission but Boxer is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Marley. Boxer is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Marley looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Boxer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Marley avoids the attempt from Boxer to control. Marley lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Boxer slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Boxer trying to control but Marley postures up.
Marley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Boxer avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Marley.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boxer looking for submissions off his back. Marley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Boxer is looking for a sweep. Marley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Boxer trying to hold on to Marley's head to control him but Marley postures up.
Marley is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Boxer is just riding it out for now. Marley eventually gives up the hold. Boxer is trying to maintain the position but Marley is very close to passing his half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Boxer tries to roll over but Marley keeps him under control. Ben Jammin Marley dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Marley throws a leg kick but Boxer checks it. Boxer fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Boxer throws a low kick but Marley moves out of range easily. Boxer misses with a takedown attempt - Marley sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A head kick misses from Marley. Boxer checks a leg kick nicely. Boxer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Marley shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Marley showed some decent athleticism there. Marley wants to control but Boxer is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marley moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Boxer. Boxer manages to get back to half guard. Boxer missing with punches from the bottom.
Boxer pushes Marley off looking to stand but Marley dives back in and keeps control.
Marley looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Boxer tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Marley is trying to control the action in half guard but Boxer is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marley thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Marley is keen to just control but Boxer is a slippery customer. Boxer misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Boxer actively working from the bottom here. Boxer wants to get back to full guard. Marley missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Marley passes the guard and advances to mount! Boxer tries to hold on but Marley postures up. Boxer is looking to improve his position but Marley isn't that keen on the idea. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Marley breaks from Boxer's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Marley swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Boxer is now in Marley's guard. A big mistake from Marley there, giving up the dominant position! Boxer stopping the sweep attempt from Marley. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boxer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Boxer throws an elbow that misses. Marley uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Boxer's guard. Nice move by Marley! Marley trying to control the position from guard on top but Boxer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Boxer is trying to control the position but Marley postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boxer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Marley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Ben Jammin Marley overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Boxer looking to control.
Boxer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Marley is pushing down on Boxer's leg trying to pass to half guard. Boxer is fighting to maintain full guard but Marley has managed to sneak the leg through. Boxer is looking to control Marley's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Boxer avoid being mounted? Boxer is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Marley's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Marley's back! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Boxer looking to break Marley's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Marley remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Boxer will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Boxer lands a shot to the head. Boxer throwing damaging strikes from the back! Marley could be in trouble here!

A close second round but Mark Boxer will probably get the nod - 10:9. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Marley smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Ben Jammin Marley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Marley connects with a body shot. Boxer throws a series of punches but Marley moves out of range. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boxer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Marley. Boxer takes a jab right on the kisser.
Boxer feints and as Marley raises his hands in defense, Boxer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Boxer is working Marley over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Boxer lands a couple of elbows. Boxer with a nice head shot there. Boxer won't allow Marley to get back to his feet. Boxer engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Boxer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marley swivels though and keeps the full guard. Boxer is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Marley is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Boxer scores with a couple of nice shots. Marley wants to control but Boxer is keeping busy.

Boxer scores with a couple of short elbows. Boxer wants to control but Marley is keeping him busy.
And that's the end of the fight! Mark Boxer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Boxer has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
