Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hughe Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Jakasashii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hughe Kane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jim Jakasashii! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kane shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jakasashii looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kane really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kane is trying to control. Jakasashii wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Jakasashii preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Jakasashii trying to control here.
Kane is looking for a kimura but Jakasashii is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kane to get the leverage.

He's simply no match for Jakasashii on the ground. That was a close round but I would say that Hughe Kane will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kane fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jakasashii, pushing him back against the cage. Jakasashii is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kane is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Jakasashii to the mat. Jakasashii regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Jakasashii pulls Kane in close to prevent any damage. Jakasashii working a defensive guard here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Kane cracks Jakasashii with a solid left hand.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Hughe Kane wasn't doing enough on the ground. Kane throws a nice looking combination but Jakasashii bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jakasashii closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kane did well to prevent Jakasashii getting side control. Jakasashii is looking for a kimura here.

Kane tries to kick Jakasashii off but Jakasashii keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Jakasashii wants to take a breather but Kane is having none of it. Jakasashii working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Jakasashii moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kane is looking to regain half guard here but Jakasashii keeps moving and retains side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Jim Jakasashii will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Jakasashii escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kane gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hughe Kane. Well Kane has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
