Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Ushenin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and August Beach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ushenin's entrance music is The Godfather. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Beach's choice of entrance music: Nicole Willis & The Soul Investigators - If This Ain't Love. August Beach will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ushenin wants to clinch.

Ushenin shoots in and gets a takedown into Beach's guard.
Beach is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ushenin is controlling him.
Ushenin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

and Ushenin counters with a shoot takedown. Beach fights it but they end up in guard.
Ushenin is fighting to break Beach's control of his arms but Beach is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

OK we're going to have a standup here. August Beach hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Beach can do anything to dispel that myth.

Beach feints and then cracks Ushenin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ushenin down.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ushenin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Beach looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
