The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Bulldog defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kennedy.
A nice inside leg kick there by The Bulldog. That's going to slow Kennedy down.
A slapping leg kick lands for The Bulldog.
Kennedy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? The Bulldog is fending him off so far but Kennedy persists. Nope, The Bulldog circles away and we're back to standing.
Kennedy tries for a takedown but The Bulldog sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcus Kennedy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A slapping leg kick lands for The Bulldog.

Kennedy is breathing heavily.
Kennedy is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The Bulldog lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The Bulldog stuffs the takedown attempt from Kennedy. Kennedy gets slowly back to his feet.
Kennedy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The Bulldog breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kennedy crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from The Bulldog - the referee stops the clock and Kennedy gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says The Bulldog. Kennedy manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The Bulldog lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Kennedy crumples to the floor! The Bulldog milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
