Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tomoyasu Matsunaga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sompong Seesumran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tomoyasu Matsunaga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Sompong Seesumran!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Matsunaga.
Seesumran tries to close the distance and clinch up but Matsunaga swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Matsunaga lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Seesumran pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Matsunaga fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Seesumran manages to avoid it.
Matsunaga gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Matsunaga could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Matsunaga blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Matsunaga gets control of Seesumran's arms and successfully pulls guard. Matsunaga will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Seesumran is posturing up here but Matsunaga has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Seesumran tries to roll out but it's too tight and Seesumran has to tap! Slick submission there by Matsunaga!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Tomoyasu Matsunaga!
Tomoyasu Matsunaga very nearly forgot to thank Snap Crackle Pop Fight Gear amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
