Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roscoe P Coltrane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). P Coltrane comes to the cage accompanied by The Dukes Of Hazard Theme Song. Thompson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kreator - Extreme Aggressions kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Nick Thompson is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from P Coltrane misses the target.
Thompson throws the kick towards the body but P Coltrane avoids it.
Thompson digs a good body shot into P Coltrane's ribs.
Thompson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to P Coltrane's calf.
Thompson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Thompson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Thompson throws a body punch but P Coltrane moves out of range.
P Coltrane fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thompson manages to avoid it.

Thompson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Thompson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down P Coltrane rather than just go for the knockout.
Thompson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Thompson digs a good body shot into P Coltrane's ribs.
Nick Thompson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
P Coltrane checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
P Coltrane blocks the body kick.
Thompson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. P Coltrane checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
P Coltrane ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thompson moves away.
P Coltrane tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Thompson was well out of range. Poor timing from P Coltrane.
P Coltrane just misses with a punch to the body.
Thompson doesn't manage to clinch there - P Coltrane circles away.
Horrible takedown by P Coltrane or perhaps it was just good defense by Thompson which made him look bad.
A looping hook to the body misses from Thompson. P Coltrane does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
P Coltrane closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Thompson did well to prevent P Coltrane getting side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
P Coltrane throwing shots but Thompson is blocking nicely.
P Coltrane is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
P Coltrane working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Thompson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with P Coltrane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

P Coltrane has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
P Coltrane is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Thompson can do anything to dispel that myth.

P Coltrane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thompson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
P Coltrane trying to control the position from guard on top but Thompson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

P Coltrane is pushing down on Thompson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Thompson is fighting to maintain full guard but P Coltrane has managed to sneak the leg through.
P Coltrane working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
P Coltrane trying to control the action but Thompson is working from the bottom.

P Coltrane passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Thompson!
P Coltrane fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
P Coltrane breaks from Thompson's wrist control and lands an elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
P Coltrane lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Thompson is rocked!
It looks like Nick Thompson has been cut.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
P Coltrane postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Thompson bigstyle! Two more strikes land for P Coltrane and the fight is over!
