Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Custer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasha Lakovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Custer comes to the cage accompanied by History´s Stranglers by The Bronx. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Custer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sasha Lakovic! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lakovic takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Custer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lakovic shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Custer cracks a nice hook into Lakovic's ribs. Lakovic throws a jab but it's blocked by Custer. Custer avoids a kick to the body.
Custer catches Lakovic with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Lakovic throws a leg kick and Custer makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Custer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jesse Custer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Custer getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Custer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lakovic throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round. A lazy body kick from Custer and Lakovic counters with a head kick. That will keep Custer thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Lakovic takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Lakovic on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Custer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lakovic misses with a takedown attempt - Custer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Lakovic blocks a head kick by Custer.

Lakovic misses with a body kick. Lakovic will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Custer throws a low kick, looking for Lakovic's leg but Lakovic calmly moves out of range. Lakovic takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lakovic steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Custer. Custer lands a nice leg kick that just misses Lakovic's sensitive parts. Nice body kick there by Custer. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Custer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lakovic. Custer throws a sloppy head kick and Lakovic counters with a nice double leg into half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Lakovic is keen to just control but Custer is a slippery customer. Lakovic working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Custer wants to improve his position but Lakovic is controlling well.

Custer has a hand on Lakovic's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Lakovic takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Custer holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Lakovic tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Lakovic jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Custer manages to avoid the submission attempt. Custer is looking to regain half guard here but Lakovic keeps moving and retains side control. Lakovic looks up at the clock and then as Custer takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Lakovic smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Custer wants to control but Lakovic postures up. Lakovic throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Lakovic working away. Check out the look on Lakovic's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Custer is looking to reverse the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Custer gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Lakovic seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Custer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lakovic is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Custer doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lakovic. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Lakovic sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Custer defending well though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jesse Custer will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Lakovic slips a straight right by Custer. A swing and a miss from Lakovic. Lakovic tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Custer swivels and escapes. Custer lands with a nice body punch. Lakovic looks to land a combination. Custer sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Jesse Custer has been cut. Custer connects with an inside leg kick. A solid body kick from Custer. Custer cracks Lakovic with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Custer connects with a right hand. Lakovic shakes it off. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Custer bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Custer throws a leg kick which misses Lakovic's front leg but catches the back leg as Lakovic tries to avoid it. Donk. Custer catches Lakovic right on the button with a cross.
That's one minute gone in the round. Custer throws a jab when Lakovic was well out of range. A head kick misses from Custer. Custer jabs at Lakovic's body. Jesse Custer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lakovic defending well as Custer loads up on a big left hand. A nice inside leg kick there by Custer. That's going to slow Lakovic down. Lakovic thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Custer if he has to take too many more of those.

It looks like Sasha Lakovic has been cut. Custer blocks a jab. Custer's corner calls for a 1-2. Custer obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Custer connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. This has been an exciting period of action! Lakovic jabbing away but nothing is landing. Lakovic shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Lakovic scoring with strikes to the body and head. Lakovic throwing shots but Custer is blocking nicely. Lakovic is nestled in close to Custer, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Lakovic lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jesse Custer is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Custer lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lakovic has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lakovic and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Custer connects with a leg kick. Lakovic looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Custer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lakovic. Lakovic misses with a body shot.

No luck for Lakovic with that takedown attempt. Jesse Custer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sasha Lakovic. Lakovic stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Custer. Custer blocks a low kick nicely.

And that's the end of the fight! Jesse Custer showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Custer, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
