Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marek Kolec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taisto Sinisalo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kolec comes to the cage accompanied by Piona. Sinisalo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jos rakastat. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Taisto Sinisalo!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kolec fails with a takedown attempt.
Sinisalo gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Kolec is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Kolec has Sinisalo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sinisalo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marek Kolec. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sinisalo scores with a knee to the head.
It looks like Marek Kolec has been cut.
Sinisalo unloads a knee to the mid-section. Kolec lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Kolec takes a knee to the side of the body.
Kolec is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kolec tries for a takedown but Sinisalo manages to get underhooks.
Sinisalo working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Sinisalo is pressed up against the cage. Kolec has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sinisalo down to the mat. Sinisalo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Sinisalo lands a big right hand that sends Kolec crashing to the mat! Sinisalo stays standing though and waves Kolec back to his feet!
Sinisalo lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Kolec falls backwards - clearly groggy! Sinisalo dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Taisto Sinisalo!
