The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Poo tries to sprawl out of it but silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Poo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Poo shoots in and bounces silva off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

silva looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Poo has picked silva up and slammed him! silva can't keep hold of the triangle and Poo manages to pass to side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Poo is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. silva is defending well though. Poo let's go of the attempt for now.

Poo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

silva has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Poo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for silva.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Poo lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Poo is trying to stick to silva's back but silva is turning into Poo. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Poo's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by silva.

silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Tim Poo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Poo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in silva's guard.

silva is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Poo still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Poo has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

I would just about give that final round to Tim Poo.
Well Poo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
