Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Cameron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johonny Crash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kenneth Cameron! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johonny Crash! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cameron throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Cameron fakes the leg kick and cracks Crash in the body. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cameron is defended easily by Crash. Cameron looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cameron fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A low kick from Cameron misses and Crash makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Cameron tries to land a front kick but Crash steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. The fight stays on the outside here - Crash looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Crash cracks the inside of Cameron's front leg. Cameron scores with a jab to the head.
No joy there for Crash, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Crash drops his hands momentarily and Cameron takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Cameron throws a series of punches but Crash moves out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cameron takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Crash. Cameron misses with a series of wild punches.

Crash is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Cameron misses with an attempted mid kick.
Cameron gets in close and instigates a clinch. Crash's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cameron circles away from the clinch attempt.
Crash avoids a kick to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cameron slips a straight right by Crash. Crash takes the fight into the clinch. Cameron breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Crash fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A nice combination there by Cameron.
Cameron looks for a takedown but Crash sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenneth Cameron. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crash closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cameron to the mat! Cameron manages to get full guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Crash wants to control from the top but Cameron keeps moving. Cameron looking to hit a scissor sweep but Crash is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cameron has a closed guard, preventing Crash from standing up. Crash wants to pass the guard but Cameron is keeping the position. Cameron pulls Crash in close to prevent any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cameron misses with a combination
and Crash counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Cameron closes the distance looking to clinch and Crash counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Cameron!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crash trying to control but Cameron is having none of it. Crash looking to ground and pound but Cameron is blocking nicely. Crash wants to control the pace but Cameron is squirming around nicely. Cameron tries to hold on but Crash pushes him away. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cameron slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Johonny Crash will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Cameron swats away the attempt to clinch by Crash. Kenneth Cameron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cameron moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

and Crash counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Crash. Cameron breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Crash closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cameron did well to prevent Crash getting side control. Crash is trying to control the action in half guard but Cameron is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Crash is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Crash trying to control but he's not successful this time. Cameron tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crash trying to control but Cameron is having none of it. Cameron is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Crash looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Cameron can't escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crash avoids the attempt from Cameron to control. Cameron is in all sorts of trouble here.
Crash looking to control but Cameron is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Poor strikes thrown by Crash there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Cameron bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Cameron trying to control the position from guard on top but Crash is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cameron wanted to stand there but Crash had control of the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Crash is on top in guard.
Cameron avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Crash trying to control but Cameron is working from the bottom. Crash stands up over Cameron, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crash sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cameron's guard. Cameron pushes Crash off but Crash dives into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cameron is not content to let Crash control the position. Johonny Crash has got the better of the ground game so far. Cameron is trying to buck Crash off. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Crash throwing shots but missing, from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johonny Crash showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Crash changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cameron tries to avoid it but Crash manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cameron to the ground. Cameron escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Crash doesn't manage to clinch there - Cameron circles away.
A combination from Cameron does no damage. Cameron throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Cameron misses with the combination.

Cameron stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cameron wants it to stay on the feet. Left hook, right uppercut from Cameron. Cameron moves out of range as Crash throws a body kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Crash would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Crash controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Johonny Crash. Cameron misses with a few strikes there.
Crash moves into the clinch. Crash tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Cameron smiles and moves away.
Kenneth Cameron has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johonny Crash. Crash tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

He can't get it on this occasion though. Cameron is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Cameron is trying to drag Crash to the mat but Crash just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there. Cameron pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Cameron misses with a wild combination.
Cameron really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Cameron tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cameron throws the left hand but Crash avoids the punch easily. Cameron leaves Crash with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Johonny Crash is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Cameron tries to land a leg kick but Crash saw it coming and moves away.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kenneth Cameron. I think Crash has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
