Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Jan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Ripgut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jan comes to the cage accompanied by Judgment night by Biohazard&Onyx. Ripgut has chosen Abominable Putridity - Throat Fisting Abortion as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jan turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ripgut throws a body punch but Jan moves out of range.
Jan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ripgut doesn't seem bothered though.
Ripgut misses with a straight right.
Jan takes a swing at Ripgut's ribcage but misses.
Jan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jan tried to score with a low kick but Ripgut checks it.
Jan lands a nice looking body shot.

Jan connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Sean Ripgut has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Ripgut tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ripgut tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jan is able to avoid easily.
Ripgut displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jan throws out the jab.

Nice straight punches there by Jan. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jan.
Jan loads up on a big right hand but Ripgut slips the punch.
Jan moves into range and connects with a jab.
Ripgut throws a lazy body kick
and Jan scores with a counter punch that sends Ripgut to the canvas! Jan smells blood - he's punishing Ripgut with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Ripgut has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Jan!
