Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Noah Ho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sheikh Hasina Wazed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wazed has chosen Mercedes Sosa - Como la Cigarra as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Noah Ho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sheikh Hasina Wazed! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wazed ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Ho misses with the combination.
Wazed looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wazed looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Ho is looking for a triangle here but Wazed uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Ho is trying to escape the position but Wazed is controlling the position. Ho is trying to work for a sweep but Wazed has mounted him!
That's one minute gone in the round. Wazed controlling from mount. Ho wants to control but Wazed is having none of it. Wazed looking to finish Ho with some ground and pound. This is bad for Ho! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ho is trying to escape the mount.
Wazed punching from mount but Ho doing a good job of avoiding damage. Wazed controlling from mount. Ho is in all sorts of trouble here.
Ho tries to lock up and control but Wazed gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wazed content just to control the position here. Ho is squirming around, avoiding Wazed's attempts to control the action. Wazed looking to control and managing it successfully. It looks like Wazed might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ho wants to control but Wazed is having none of it. Wazed is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ho can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Wazed content just to control the position here. Ho sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ho throws a lazy right hand but Wazed sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ho throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Ho rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wazed moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Wazed keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ho. Ho misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ho loads up on a big right hand but Wazed slips the punch. That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Ho is trying to control but can't.
Wazed is pressing down on Ho's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ho is holding on for now.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sheikh Hasina Wazed wasn't active enough on the ground. Ho will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Noah Ho. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Wazed looking to score a takedown here. Ho is defending well but Wazed drives through and ends up in Ho's guard. Wazed engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Wazed trying to control the position from guard on top but Ho is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Ho is striking from the bottom but Wazed uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Wazed trying to control the pace.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sheikh Hasina Wazed wasn't active enough on the ground. Wazed bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ho is trying to improve his position. Wazed moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Wazed throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wazed controlling from side mount. Wazed lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sheikh Hasina Wazed showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Ho enables Wazed to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ho manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Wazed postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Wazed trying to control but Ho is working from the bottom. Ho controls Wazed momentarily but Wazed frees himself. Sheikh Hasina Wazed has got the better of the ground game so far. Wazed slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Sheikh Hasina Wazed hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Ho tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wazed sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ho somewhat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wazed cracks Ho with a right hand to the side of the head. Ho tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wazed swivels and escapes. Wazed defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ho. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Noah Ho. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ho tries to sprawl but Wazed drives through with a takedown into half guard. Ho looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Let's hope that Wazed has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Sheikh Hasina Wazed hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Ho throws out a loose jab but Wazed uses good head movement to avoid it. Ho defending well as Wazed loads up on a big left hand. Ho misses with a hook. Ho fails to land the takedown. Wazed avoids a punch combination nicely.

Wazed trying to control the position from guard on top but Ho is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wazed stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ho swivels though and keeps the full guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sheikh Hasina Wazed was stalling too much, according to the referee. Ho closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ho lands in his opponent's guard. Ho is fighting to break Wazed's control of his arms but Wazed is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Wazed controls Ho momentarily but Ho frees himself. Noah Ho has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sheikh Hasina Wazed is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight! Sheikh Hasina Wazed comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Wazed has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
