Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pekka Lipponen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arne Riseman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lipponen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rainbow - Man on the Silver Mountain. On his way into the cage it seems that Pekka Lipponen has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Pekka Lipponen seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riseman lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Pekka Lipponen has been cut.
A nice inside leg kick there by Lipponen. That's going to slow Riseman down.
Lipponen avoids the head kick by Riseman.
Riseman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Riseman throws a lazy right hand but Lipponen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Riseman counters with a three punch combo that has Lipponen backing up. Lipponen nods at Riseman to acknowledge the strikes.

Horrible takedown by Lipponen or perhaps it was just good defense by Riseman which made him look bad.

Riseman is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Riseman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Riseman throws a nice looking combination but Lipponen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Riseman looks to score with a jab to the body but Lipponen is just out of range.

Lipponen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Riseman manages to avoid it.

Lipponen moves out of range of the body kick from Riseman.
Lipponen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Riseman swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lipponen throws the kick towards the body but Riseman avoids it.
Riseman dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Riseman fails to land with a series of punches.
Riseman falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lipponen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Riseman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Crunch! Lipponen slams his shin into Riseman's torso.

Lipponen keeps Riseman at a distance using the push kick.
Riseman walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Lipponen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Riseman at a distance.
Riseman stuffs the takedown attempt from Lipponen. Lipponen gets slowly back to his feet.
Lipponen misses with a body shot.
Arne Riseman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lipponen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Riseman moves away.
Lipponen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Riseman.
Lipponen lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Riseman takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Lipponen gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Pekka Lipponen's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Riseman throws a series of punches but Lipponen avoids them all with ease.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nice defenses there by Riseman.
A swing and a miss from Lipponen.
Riseman avoids the body shot from Lipponen.
Lipponen buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Lipponen is looking to clinch but Riseman is avoiding it.
Lipponen avoids a punch combination nicely.
Riseman thumps Lipponen with a low kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Pekka Lipponen will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Riseman changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Lipponen slips a jab and a cross from Riseman.
A jab-cross combination lands for Lipponen and sends Riseman crashing to the mat! Lipponen follows him down to the mat - Riseman regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Riseman is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lipponen works his foot free and advances to mount.
Riseman is still in real trouble! Can Lipponen finish him?
Lipponen postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Riseman out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Lipponen goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

An out of breath Pekka Lipponen thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
