Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alan Kolodin!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kolodin.

Johnson drives through and clinches with Kolodin against the cage.
Kolodin is looking to take this one to the mat.
Johnson prevents a takedown attempt there.
Johnson lands a shot to the body.
Kolodin blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Kolodin keeps control of Johnson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Johnson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Johnson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Kolodin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Johnson defends it easily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Johnson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kolodin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Johnson has managed to get both his arms back between Kolodin's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Johnson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kolodin will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Randall Johnson just wasn't active enough.
Kolodin moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Johnson wants to clinch up but Kolodin keeps it at a distance.
Johnson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kolodin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Johnson throws a sloppy head kick and Kolodin moves out of range easily.
Randall Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Randall Johnson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Johnson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Kolodin shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed Kolodin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kolodin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johnson pinned against the cage. Johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Randall Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alan Kolodin.
Johnson lands a head kick. Kolodin smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Kolodin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Johnson as he jumps to the side.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kolodin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd cheers as Johnson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kolodin doesn't seem phased though.

Kolodin closes the distance and clinches up with Johnson, looking for a takedown. Kolodin pushes Johnson against the cage but Johnson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oooooh!!! Johnson has knocked Kolodin down with a huge combo! Johnson steps away and waves a wobbly Kolodin back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Alan Kolodin has been cut.
Kolodin is breathing heavily.

Johnson moves into the clinch.

Johnson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Johnson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kolodin, pushing him back against the cage.

Kolodin seems to have recovered his senses.
Johnson tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kolodin's elbow.

Johnson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kolodin avoids a kick to the body.

Kolodin throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kolodin is in Johnson's guard.

Kolodin tries to pull guard but Johnson holds him up against the cage and eventually Kolodin drops back down to his feet.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Kolodin shoots for a takedown but Johnson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Good leg kick by Johnson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Kolodin shoots in looking for a takedown. Johnson tries to sprawl out of it but Kolodin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Johnson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Randall Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alan Kolodin.

Johnson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kolodin can do to turn this around?

Johnson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kolodin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Johnson sends Kolodin crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Johnson is motioning to the referee to let Kolodin up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Johnson moves in looking to clinch but Kolodin pushes him off.
Johnson drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Kolodin right on the button. Kolodin goes down! Johnson follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Johnson gets the win via TKO!
