Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rylan Gardner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Cooperman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gardner comes into the arena with Goodtimes blaring out of the sound system. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooperman avoids the body shot from Gardner.
Cooperman swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Decent striking displayed by Gardner there.
Gardner throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cooperman counters with a right hand to the body.
Gardner changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gardner, as that shot connected.
Cooperman misses the jab.
Gardner throws a hook but Cooperman avoids it easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gardner takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Cooperman ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gardner moves away.
Gardner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cooperman is fending him off so far but Gardner persists. Nope, Cooperman circles away and we're back to standing.
A left and a right from Gardner both land. Nice combination.
Cooperman connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Gardner throws a jab but it's blocked by Cooperman.
Cooperman scores with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gardner moves out of range of the strikes.
Cooperman swings for the body but Gardner moves out of range.
Max Cooperman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gardner closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gardner lands in his opponent's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Gardner postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gardner chips away with some ground and pound.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gardner controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Gardner postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Gardner won't allow Cooperman to sweep him here.

Cooperman has hold of Gardner's hands but Gardner slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Gardner passes the guard and advances to mount!

Gardner postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Cooperman looks a forlorn figure.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gardner unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Cooperman wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Gardner celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
