Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ted Coke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coke comes to the ring accompanied by Cocaine. Eddie Alvarez acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ted Coke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddie Alvarez! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alvarez takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Alvarez on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A decent looking cross lands there for Coke. Nice shot lands for Coke. Alvarez gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Coke. Alvarez takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Alvarez misses with a takedown attempt and Coke counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Coke cracks Alvarez with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Alvarez is rocked! Coke looks to land a combination but Alvarez avoids it well. Coke displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Alvarez. A punch combination from Coke misses. Coke fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Ted Coke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Alvarez dodges the punch combination from Coke.
Alvarez doesn't succeed with the takedown and Coke counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Ted Coke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddie Alvarez.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coke works Alvarez's body with a nice hook. Coke gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Coke lands a shot to the body. Alvarez is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. Coke breaks the clinch.
Alvarez is trying desperately to land a takedown but Coke is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Alvarez. Coke tests Alvarez's chin there with a solid looking shot. Coke stuffs the takedown. Coke drops Alvarez with a beautiful combination! Alvarez stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Coke is looking for the KO! Alvarez is still on wobbly legs! Can Coke finish him? We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Coke has taken the fight to the clinch.
Alvarez seems to have recovered his senses. Coke lands a hook that snaps the head of Alvarez backwards. Coke prevents the takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coke's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Coke darts in and clinches Alvarez up against the ropes. Coke pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Alvarez circles away from the clinch attempt.
Alvarez ducks right into an uppercut from Coke. The fight moves into the clinch position. Coke taking a breather. Alvarez is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Coke pulls him back up using the underhooks. Coke will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. That's three minutes gone in the round. Alvarez with a flurry of punches that miss. Coke utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Coke is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Coke looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Alvarez trying to control but Coke is working from the bottom. Alvarez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Alvarez avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alvarez won't allow Coke to sweep him here. Alvarez postures up in Coke's guard and throws a big left but Coke blocks it. Alvarez advances to half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Coke pushes Alvarez off and gets back to his feet. Coke dips down and scores with a jab to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Alvarez moves forwards but Coke connects with a nice, crisp jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ted Coke dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Alvarez shoots for a takedown but Coke saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Nice jab there from Coke. Coke moves into the clinch. Coke digs a right hand underneath Alvarez's ribcage. Alvarez let out a lung full of air as it connected. Alvarez's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Coke stops a takedown attempt from Alvarez.
Alvarez has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Coke after a bit of a struggle. Ted Coke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddie Alvarez. Alvarez is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Coke is defending well. A right hook to the body lands for Coke.
Coke turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Coke manages to end up in side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Coke tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Alvarez tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Coke wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coke trying to control the action but Alvarez is working from the bottom. Coke lands a few punches from side control. The strikes coming from Coke are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Coke creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Alvarez sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Alvarez tries to bench press Coke off him but Coke keeps the position. Coke controlling the position from side mount. Alvarez taking punishment in the form of punches.
Coke has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Coke has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coke lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Alvarez backs up against the ropes.
Ted Coke is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Alvarez with a poor takedown and Coke counters with a nice uppercut. Coke drives through and clinches with Alvarez against the ropes.
Coke escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Coke lands a jab to the nose. Alvarez has his takedown stuffed and Coke counters with a three punch combo that has Alvarez backing up. Alvarez nods at Coke to acknowledge the strikes. Coke scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Alvarez is breathing heavily. Good standup being displayed there by Coke as he connects with a hook. Alvarez throws a wild hook but Coke just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Alvarez gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the ropes! The referee jumps in - Coke raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ted Coke! After the fight, Ted Coke was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
