The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peippo connects with a single shot there.

Peippo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lontrame.
Lontrame swings for the body but Peippo moves out of range.
Peippo misses with a head kick.
A big right from Lontrame misses.
Lontrame dips to his left and cracks Peippo with an uppercut!
Vincent Lontrame seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peippo jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Peippo throws a right and a left that Lontrame avoids nicely.
Peippo thows a body shot but no joy.
The fighters circle momentarily. Peippo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Peippo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Vincent Lontrame is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Peippo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lontrame sprawls well. Lontrame wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Peippo gets slowly back to his feet.
Lontrame comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Lontrame drops Peippo with a beautiful combination! Peippo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lontrame is looking for the KO!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lontrame takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Oh Peippo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lontrame lands a nice shot to the body.
Peippo is breathing heavily.
Lontrame measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Peippo! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
