The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Bonham coming out on top.
Rosa gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bonham counters with a nice low kick that buckles Rosa's knee momentarily.

John Bonham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manga Rosa.

Bonham really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rosa goes for a takedown attempt but Bonham pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

It looks like Manga Rosa has been cut.
Bonham drops Rosa with a big knee straight up the middle! Rosa is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Bonham lands an elbow inside.
Bonham unloads a knee to the mid-section. Rosa lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Bonham has Rosa pressed against the cage. He pushes Rosa back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Bonham throws a beautiful elbow that sends Rosa crashing to the floor! Bonham piles on the pressure with more strikes! Rosa is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Bonham!
John Bonham decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
