Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Master Splinter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gabriel Francisco !
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Splinter paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Francisco changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Splinter tries to avoid it but Francisco manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Splinter to the ground. Splinter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Splinter pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Francisco fails with a takedown attempt.
Francisco walks forward, straight into a front kick from Splinter.
Francisco takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That kick from Splinter tenderised Francisco 's leg. Francisco is trying to keep his angry face on.

Splinter lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Horrible takedown by Francisco or perhaps it was just good defense by Splinter which made him look bad.
Master Splinter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabriel Francisco .

Splinter scoring well with a low kick there.
Francisco takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Splinter comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Splinter dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Francisco . That did some damage!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Splinter bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Master Splinter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Splinter lands a big head kick that sends Francisco tumbling to the mat! Splinter takes a step backwards and waves Francisco back to his feet - he wants the finish!

BAM! Splinter delivers a spinning backfist that drops Francisco like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
