Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derric Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksander Yaroslev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Styles comes into the arena with Wiz Khalifa - Work Hard Play Hard blaring out of the sound system. Yaroslev comes into a darkened arena with his song building. War is the Answer - Five Finger Death Punch kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yaroslev fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Some bone on bone action there as Yaroslev checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Styles uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Styles stuffs the takedown attempt from Yaroslev. Yaroslev gets slowly back to his feet.
Yaroslev closes the distance and clinches up with Styles, looking for a takedown. Yaroslev pushes Styles against the cage but Styles circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Derric Styles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aleksander Yaroslev.
Yaroslev fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Styles avoids it really well and circles away.
Yaroslev tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Yaroslev closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Yaroslev moves out of range as Styles strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Styles tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Yaroslev was well out of range. Poor timing from Styles.

Yaroslev shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Styles as he jumps to the side.

Styles looks to score with a jab to the body but Yaroslev is just out of range.

Yaroslev shoots in for a takedown but Styles shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Yaroslev avoids the body shot from Styles.
Styles throws a body punch but Yaroslev moves out of range.
Styles throws a lazy uppercut
and Yaroslev counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Horrible takedown by Yaroslev or perhaps it was just good defense by Styles which made him look bad.
Nice sprawl there from Styles as Yaroslev shoots in.

Yaroslev shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Styles sprawls well. Styles wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Yaroslev gets slowly back to his feet.
Styles loads up on a big right hand but Yaroslev slips the punch.

Styles cracks Yaroslev with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

A bone on bone clash there as Yaroslev blocks the leg kick.
Styles keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Yaroslev chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Styles can pounce on him.
Yaroslev looks gassed!

Styles comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Yaroslev shoots and misses
and Styles counters with an inside leg kick.
Derric Styles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yaroslev blocks a head kick by Styles.
Styles cracks Yaroslev with a big right hand and Yaroslev goes down!
Yaroslev is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Styles content to stall in guard here.
Yaroslev is still in real trouble! Can Styles finish him?
Styles stands and steps away. Yaroslev gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Styles plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Yaroslev to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Yaroslev just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

In his post fight interview, Derric Styles started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
