Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksandr Progbeniak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jason Moon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Aleksandr Progbeniak!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Edson Gomes and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon swings for the body but Progbeniak moves out of range.

Progbeniak darts in and clinches Moon up against the cage.
Progbeniak wants to break the clinch but can't.
Progbeniak has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Moon avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Progbeniak works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Moon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Progbeniak can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Progbeniak trying to control the position from guard on top but Moon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Progbeniak drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Progbeniak jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Progbeniak avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Moon keeping moving, preventing Progbeniak from controlling successfully.

Progbeniak thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Progbeniak drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Progbeniak jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Progbeniak is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Moon looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Progbeniak trying to control but Moon is working from the bottom.

Moon is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Progbeniak doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Progbeniak manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Progbeniak seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Progbeniak passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Progbeniak thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Progbeniak looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Moon pushes Progbeniak away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Progbeniak gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Progbeniak tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Progbeniak working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Progbeniak tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Progbeniak is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Moon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Moon is looking for a sweep.

Progbeniak is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Moon has escaped the position, nice work there.

Progbeniak looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Moon explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Progbeniak drives through with a takedown into guard.

Moon pushes Progbeniak off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Moon swings for the body but Progbeniak moves out of range.
Moon looks to throw the jab but Progbeniak is out of range.
Progbeniak looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Moon is fending him off so far but Progbeniak persists. Nope, Moon circles away and we're back to standing.
Moon misses with a few strikes there.
Progbeniak steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Moon.
Moon displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Progbeniak.
Jason Moon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aleksandr Progbeniak.

Progbeniak closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Progbeniak lands in his opponent's guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Moon has his feet on Progbeniak's thighs here. He's pushed Progbeniak off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Progbeniak screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
