Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black's entrance music is Your the Best Around. A fine choice. Cote has chosen For Those About To Rock - ACDC as his entrance music. Matt Black looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cote looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Black!

Cote looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Black is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Cote really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Black. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Black wants to hold on but Cote pushes him away.
Cote raining down shots from the mount!

It looks like Matt Black has been cut.
Black is working to get back to half guard.

Cote is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Black to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Black shrugs it off.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Cote is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Black has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Cote landing strikes, looking to finish!
Cote is looking to work his way around to Black's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Black tries to reverse the position but Cote maintains control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cote is in the full mount, landing strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cote is working for a guillotine from mount but Black frees his head quite easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Black is working to get back to half guard.
Black is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Cote with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.

Cote is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Black can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Cote is nestled in close to Black, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Cote seems to be working for a kimura but Black defends the submission attempt.

Cote looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Cote is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
