The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis throws a series of strikes that have Guy backpedaling.
It looks like New Tall Guy has been cut.
Guy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lewis tries to avoid it but Guy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lewis to the ground. Lewis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Guy blocks a head kick by Lewis.
Lewis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Guy dodges the punch combination from Lewis.
Guy misses with a takedown attempt - Lewis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Guy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Lewis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Guy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lewis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lewis misses with a two punch combination.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Guy is defended easily by Lewis.
Guy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lewis but Lewis pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lewis.

Lewis defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Guy.

Lewis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Lewis ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Lewis swats away the attempt to clinch by Guy.
Lewis feints a jab promting Guy to slip. Lewis then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Guy slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Guy misses with a takedown attempt
and Lewis counters with a left and a right that stings Guy.
Matt Lewis is winning the standup battle so far.
Lewis paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Lewis connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Lewis scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Guy has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Guy there as he acknowledges the shot.
Lewis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Guy.

Lewis lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Guy can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Lewis and Guy drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Lewis.
