2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alan Pitbull! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gray connects with the punch. Pitbull avoids the head kick by Gray.
Some bone on bone action there as Pitbull checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Pitbull tries to clinch but Gray is having none of it. Gray throws a right and a left that Pitbull avoids nicely. Gray swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gray looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Pitbull wants to clinch up but Gray keeps it at a distance. Pitbull avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pitbull shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Pitbull was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. The referee warns Gray that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Gray might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Gray blocking the ground and pound. Pitbull avoids the attempt from Gray to control. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Sloppy strikes from Gray. Those never looked like landing. Gray pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Pitbull back to the cage. Gray follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. This has been an exciting period of action! Gray misses with a wild body shot. Gray tries a low kick but Pitbull avoids it. Gray throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pitbull sees it coming and avoids it easily. Pitbull avoids the head kick by Gray.
Gray feints a jab promting Pitbull to slip. Gray then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Pitbull slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Gray throws a series of punches but Pitbull moves out of range. Gray scores with a three punch combo!

Pitbull shoots for a double leg takedown but Gray sprawls well. He's pushed Pitbull's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Pitbull moves in looking to clinch but Gray pushes him off. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gray lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did?
