Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bill Clinton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gage R (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clinton's entrance music is Break Ya Neck. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bill Clinton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gage R!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from R misses.
Clinton slips under a jab.
R misses with a straight left.
Clinton misses with an uppercut.
R misses with a two punch combination.
Clinton keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Clinton lands a straight punch to the body, keeping R at a distance.
Clinton throws a sloppy body shot
and R counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Clinton thinking.
Clinton misses with a body shot
and R counters with a stiff right hand.
Clinton blocks the body kick.
R misses with a double jab.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

R escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Clinton throws a looping overhand right but R ducks down to avoid it.

Clinton tries to bum rush R with a series of wild strikes but R uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Clinton closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. R quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
R wants to get back to full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

R looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
R is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Clinton is looking to take a break and control but R is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


R lands a head kick. Clinton smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
R fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Clinton manages to avoid it.
Gage R seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clinton fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
R misses with a lunging right hand

and Clinton counters by moving into the clinch.
R misses with a hook from the clinch.

Clinton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
R throws a solid leg kick but Clinton takes the impact on his shin and smiles at R.
Clinton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bill Clinton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
R swats away the attempt to clinch by Clinton.
Clinton scores with a hook to the body. R takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Clinton goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
R shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Clinton eats them both and turns towards R to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Clinton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but R moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

R tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Clinton was well out of range. Poor timing from R.
R closes the distance and clinches up with Clinton, looking for a takedown. R pushes Clinton against the cage but Clinton circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Clinton loads up on a big right hand but R slips the punch.

Clinton shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close second round but I would say that Bill Clinton will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

R doesn't manage to clinch there - Clinton circles away.
Clinton lands a really nice looking cross but R seems unphased.

R throws a nice looking combination but Clinton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

R drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Clinton gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Clinton throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

R connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
R avoids the body shot from Clinton.
Clinton misses with a series of wild punches.
R looks to score with a jab to the body but Clinton is just out of range.
Gage R has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bill Clinton is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Clinton looks to land a right hand but R moved out of range.

and Clinton counters with a three punch combo that has R backing up. R nods at Clinton to acknowledge the strikes.

Clinton throws a right hand that R ducks under and follows up with a left that R also avoids with ease.

R will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Well Clinton has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
