Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mirza Mujdanovic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anton Panow! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Sergei Dronov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Panow looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mujdanovic throws a sloppy head kick and Panow moves out of range easily. Mujdanovic slips a jab and a cross from Panow.
Panow shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Mujdanovic is defending against the submission attempts here by Panow.
Mujdanovic actively working from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mujdanovic manages to get to full guard.
Panow trying to control the position from guard on top but Mujdanovic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Panow must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Mujdanovic is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mujdanovic is looking to take a break and control but Panow is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mujdanovic prevents Panow from improving his position. Mujdanovic tries to control but Panow wriggling away. Mujdanovic can't control as he wanted to and Panow manages to get the fight back to his half guard. Mujdanovic prevents Panow from improving his position. Panow wants to control but Mujdanovic is keeping busy and won't allow it. Panow tries to roll over but Mujdanovic keeps him under control. Panow misses with some strikes from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Panow is not content to let Mujdanovic control the position. Mujdanovic stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Panow to get to his feet. Mujdanovic keeps the fight on the outside. Panow drives through with a takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mujdanovic trying to strike off his back.

That was a close round but I would say that Mirza Mujdanovic will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Mujdanovic really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mujdanovic wants to sweep but no luck. Anton Panow has got the better of the ground game so far. Panow wanted to stand there but Mujdanovic had control of the position. Mujdanovic is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Panow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mujdanovic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mujdanovic utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Panow pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mujdanovic is keeping the position for now. Mujdanovic keeping moving, preventing Panow from controlling successfully. Panow slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Anton Panow has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Mujdanovic shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Panow as he jumps to the side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mujdanovic was covering up waiting for the punch and Panow finishes the takedown easily into guard. Panow trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Mujdanovic looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Panow passes into half guard.
Mujdanovic is refusing to be controlled, as Panow sits in half guard. Panow might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mujdanovic kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Panow looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Mujdanovic is staying active underneath Panow, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Panow is working for a kimura but Mujdanovic is defending it quite comfortably.

Panow wants to stand but Mujdanovic has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Panow trying to control from half guard but Mujdanovic is working away. Mujdanovic is controlling Panow's position as best he can from this difficult position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Panow sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Mujdanovic defending well though. Panow seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mujdanovic does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Anton Panow wasn't active enough on the ground. Mujdanovic swats away the attempt to clinch by Panow. Panow shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mujdanovic napping and manages to drive through into side control! Mujdanovic is trying to get back to half guard. And that's the end of the fight! Anton Panow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Panow has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
