Lopez comes to the cage accompanied by Apeman. McGrady is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGrady ducks right into an uppercut from Lopez.
Lopez misses with a low kick.
McGrady tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lopez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten McGrady somewhat.
McGrady shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

McGrady scores with a jab. Lopez acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Lopez throws a hook but McGrady blocks it.
Lopez feints and then cracks McGrady's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McGrady down.
McGrady tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lopez swivels and escapes.
Alberto Lopez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob McGrady.
Lopez lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
McGrady looks to land a left hand but Lopez moved out of range nicely.
Lopez avoids the body shot from McGrady.
Lopez throws a lazy uppercut
and McGrady counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lopez!
