Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gaius Arabi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akumi Sadoro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arabi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Genesis - Justice. Gaius Arabi could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Akumi Sadoro's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sadoro shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Arabi napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That was a close round but I would say that Gaius Arabi will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Arabi is trying to drag Sadoro to the mat but Sadoro just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Arabi has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sadoro is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Arabi.
