Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hector Lombard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonnie Fierro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fierro is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Punkrocker. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Fierro counters with a three punch combo that has Lombard backing up. Lombard nods at Fierro to acknowledge the strikes.
Jonnie Fierro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fierro looks to land a combination. Lombard sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Fierro moves out of range as Lombard strikes.

and Fierro counters with a left and a right that stings Lombard.
Fierro stalks Lombard and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lombard's face. Lombard staggers backwards, shaken.
Fierro tries to bum rush Lombard with a series of wild strikes but Lombard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Lombard counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Jonnie Fierro has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fierro. Lombard does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Fierro connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice uppercut lands for Fierro. That snapped Lombard's head back.

Fierro tries to bum rush Lombard with a series of wild strikes but Lombard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lombard on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Fierro throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Lombard colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Fierro as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Lombard is left battered and dazed whilst Fierro and his camp cheer!
