Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksandr Martynov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volnaya Borba shoots in for a takedown but Wtfomg shows good takedown defense.
Volnaya Borba slaps away a takedown attempt from Wtfomg, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Wtfomg closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Volnaya Borba did well to prevent Wtfomg getting side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Wtfomg has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Volnaya Borba tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Wtfomg has hold of Volnaya Borba's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Volnaya Borba manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
A nice elbow there by Wtfomg.
Wtfomg unloads with some shots from mount but Volnaya Borba bucks and avoids them well.
Volnaya Borba could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Wtfomg looking to control but Volnaya Borba is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Volnaya Borba wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Wtfomg.

Volnaya Borba tries to control Wtfomg's body but Wtfomg pushes him off. Volnaya Borba squirms to his side and now Wtfomg has his back!
Wtfomg is not going to allow Volnaya Borba to sit and survive in this position.

Volnaya Borba rolls, trying to escape but Wtfomg keeps control of the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wtfomg has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Volnaya Borba's body.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Let's hope that Wtfomg has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
