Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jervis Jarvainian!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coleman gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jarvainian to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Coleman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Coleman wants to sweep here but Jarvainian controlling him for the moment.
Coleman tries to strike from the bottom.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Jarvainian wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Coleman's closed guard. He's half up but Coleman has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Coleman pivots and extends the arm, Jarvainian falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Coleman! Well done that man!

After the fight, Billy Coleman was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
