Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between HeavyWeight Prizefighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zapp Brannigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prizefighter's entrance music is Under and Over it by ffdp. A fine choice. Brannigan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Jackyl -- The Lumberjack. Zapp Brannigan has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with HeavyWeight Prizefighter's chin.

30 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zapp Brannigan! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prizefighter stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Prizefighter wants it to stay on the feet. Brannigan tries to clinch but Prizefighter is having none of it. Prizefighter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Prizefighter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Brannigan tries to clinch up. Brannigan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Prizefighter paws at him with a jab and circles away. Prizefighter walks into a stiff left hand from Brannigan.
It looks like HeavyWeight Prizefighter has been cut. Brannigan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Prizefighter gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Brannigan to score an easy takedown into full guard. Brannigan trying to control the position from guard on top but Prizefighter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Prizefighter not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Prizefighter wants to sweep here but Brannigan controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brannigan wants to control from the top but Prizefighter keeps moving. Prizefighter working a defensive guard here.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Zapp Brannigan. Brannigan takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Zapp Brannigan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brannigan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Prizefighter scores with a jab. Brannigan acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Brannigan throws out a loose jab but Prizefighter uses good head movement to avoid it. Brannigan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Prizefighter napping and manages to drive through into side control! Brannigan working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Prizefighter manages to get back to half guard. Prizefighter wants to get back to full guard but Brannigan has mounted him! Prizefighter tries to lock up and control but Brannigan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Prizefighter is trying desperately to improve position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brannigan avoids the attempt from Prizefighter to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prizefighter is working to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Brannigan controlling his opponent. Prizefighter wants to hold on but Brannigan pushes him away. Prizefighter sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Prizefighter wants to sweep but Brannigan has passed to side control! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Prizefighter is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Brannigan off and has taken his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Zapp Brannigan will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on HeavyWeight Prizefighter's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Prizefighter connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Brannigan tries a head kick but it misses.
Brannigan tries to close the distance and clinch but Prizefighter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Brannigan on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Prizefighter. Prizefighter obviously looking to wear him down.
Brannigan misses with a series of wild punches.
Brannigan misses with a takedown attempt and Prizefighter counters with a nice leg kick. Prizefighter thows a body shot but no joy. Prizefighter connects with a good right hand that stumbles Brannigan. Brannigan circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Prizefighter tries to keep at a distance but Brannigan has taken the fight into the clinch. Brannigan tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Brannigan throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Prizefighters head. Prizefighter tries a knee to the head but Brannigan blocks it.

Brannigan tries to stall but Prizefighter uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Brannigan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Prizefighter's efforts to push away. A hook to the body from Prizefighter.

Brannigan lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Prizefighter lands an elbow inside. Prizefighter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Prizefighter connects with a solid leg kick. Brannigan shoots in but Prizefighter avoids the takedown attempt easily. Prizefighter lands with a shot to the body. Brannigan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Prizefighter napping and manages to drive through into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This has been an exciting period of action! Brannigan controlling the position from side mount. Prizefighter sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Prizefighter is controlling Brannigan's trapped leg to prevent Brannigan from advancing to side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prizefighter is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Prizefighter moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Prizefighter is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Prizefighter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brannigan is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Prizefighter managing to control the position. Prizefighter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Brannigan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Prizefighter swivels and escapes. HeavyWeight Prizefighter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zapp Brannigan. Prizefighter tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
HeavyWeight Prizefighter dominated that second round. The cut man is working on HeavyWeight Prizefighter's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Brannigan is trying hard to land a takedown here. Prizefighter sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Brannigan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A big right from Brannigan misses. Brannigan tries a head kick but it misses.
Prizefighter tries to score with a low kick but Brannigan moves his leg out of the way. Brannigan wants to clinch. Brannigan misses with a head kick.
Brannigan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Prizefighter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Brannigan scores with a takedown into Prizefighter's guard. Prizefighter looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prizefighter looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Prizefighter is working hard here to advance position. Brannigan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Brannigan fails with a takedown attempt. Brannigan tries a head kick but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brannigan throws a head kick but Prizefighter moves out of range.
Prizefighter lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Brannigan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

The fighters circle momentarily. Brannigan darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Prizefighter moves away from the strike by Brannigan. Prizefighter's corner calls for a 1-2. Prizefighter obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Prizefighter closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Brannigan quickly recovers to half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Prizefighter wants to control but Brannigan is keeping him busy. Prizefighter works his foot free and advances to mount. Prizefighter sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Prizefighter with shots to the head and body - Brannigan looks very uncomfortable down there. Prizefighter trying to control but Brannigan is having none of it. Brannigan tries to reverse the position but Prizefighter maintains control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Prizefighter looking to finish Brannigan with some ground and pound. This is bad for Brannigan! Prizefighter throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Prizefighter scoring with strikes but Brannigan is staying in there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brannigan wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Prizefighter.
And that's the end of the fight! HeavyWeight Prizefighter showed his dominance in that final round. I think Prizefighter has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
