PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barbara Boxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doe has chosen whatsername, and does she remember my name? as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jon Doe was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 54 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Doe!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Doe connects with a body shot that sends Boxer's belly button to the back.
Doe lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Boxer at a distance.
A clash of legs there as Boxer blocks the low kick.
Boxer ducks under a wild hook from Doe.
Boxer rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Doe counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
A lazy left from Boxer finds it's target.

Boxer looks to land a left hand but Doe moved out of range nicely.
Boxer closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.


It looks like Barbara Boxer has been cut.
Doe throws a jab when Boxer was well out of range.
Boxer moves out of range as Doe throws a body kick.
Boxer checks a low kick from Doe.

Boxer misses with a right hand
and Doe counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Boxer is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Boxer throws a head kick that misses.
Doe moves away from the strike by Boxer.
Doe lands a body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Doe uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Boxer.

Doe slips under a jab.
Boxer connects with a body shot that sends Doe's belly button to the back.
Boxer misses with an uppercut. Doe saw that one coming.
Doe ducks under a wild hook from Boxer.
Boxer moves out of range of the leg kick from Doe.

Boxer on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Boxer throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Doe ducks under a wild hook from Boxer.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Boxer pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

letting Boxer counter with a right hand.
Boxer throws a head kick but Doe moves out of range.
Jon Doe seems to be getting the better of the standup.
The fighters circling - Doe throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Doe.
Doe shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Boxer on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Doe. Doe obviously looking to wear him down.
Boxer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Boxer's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Doe connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Boxer scrambles back to his feet.
Boxer needs to keep his hands up - Doe had a free shot at his head there.
Boxer dodges the punch combination from Doe.

Doe looks for the body kick but Boxer saw that one coming.
Boxer throws a head kick that misses.
Doe scores with a crisp jab that stopped Boxer in his tracks.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boxer throws a poor cross that misses
and Doe counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Doe tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boxer was well out of range. Poor timing from Doe.
Doe ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Boxer is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Boxer throws a lazy right hand but Doe sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Boxer throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Doe counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Doe misses with a body shot

Jon Doe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Boxer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Doe counters with a nice right hand that sends Boxer toppling to the canvas! Boxer scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Doe finish him?!

Barbara Boxer's cut is getting worse.
Boxer walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Doe! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jon Doe!
Jon Doe seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
