Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnaud Thiesa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Gordon Freeman has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gordon Freeman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Arnaud Thiesa! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thiesa closes the distance and clinches up with Freeman, looking for a takedown. Thiesa pushes Freeman against the cage but Freeman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Thiesa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Freeman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Thiesa somewhat. No luck for Thiesa with that takedown attempt. Gordon Freeman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arnaud Thiesa. Thiesa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Freeman pinned against the cage. Freeman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Thiesa shoots in but Freeman avoids the takedown attempt easily. Freeman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Thiesa drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Thiesa is trying to get an arm triangle but Freeman is defending well. Freeman on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Freeman tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thiesa tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Thiesa has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Thiesa tries for a kimura but Freeman is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Thiesa tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Thiesa should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Thiesa wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Freeman, who protects the arm well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thiesa goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Freeman rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Thiesa's guard! Nice work there by Freeman! Thiesa is looking for a triangle but Freeman pushes his legs off easily.
Thiesa has an active guard here but Freeman has managed to pass into half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Thiesa looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thiesa looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Thiesa is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Freeman is tapping! Great win for Thiesa!
