Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lupe Fiasco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chase Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fiasco kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Show Goes On. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lupe Fiasco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chase Rollins! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fiasco keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rollins tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Fiasco is able to avoid easily. A slapping leg kick lands for Rollins.
Fiasco swings widly with a right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Rollins lands an overhand right. Rollins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fiasco.
Rollins throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Rollins misses with a wild body shot. Fiasco is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A big right from Fiasco misses. Fiasco tries to clinch but Rollins moves out of range. Fiasco throws the left hand but Rollins avoids the punch easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Rollins. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Fiasco pushes Rollins away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Rollins gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Rollins lands a nice forearm strike. Rollins throwing shots but missing, from side control. Check out the look on Rollins's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Fiasco is being controlled here. Rollins throws a strike aimed at the side of Fiasco's head but Fiasco avoids it well. Fiasco is looking to get back to his feet here but Rollins is keeping cool and he's managed to take Fiasco's back. Fiasco is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Rollins.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fiasco controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rollins gets his hands free as Fiasco looks to control. Rollins cracks Fiasco with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Fiasco from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Fiasco covering up well under a series of strikes from Rollins. Rollins has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Rollins working for the choke. Rollins connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Fiasco to escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rollins lands shots from the back. Fiasco rolls, trying to escape but Rollins keeps control of the position.
Fiasco is working hard here to advance position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fiasco covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Well, with Rollins on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Fiasco is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Rollins patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Rollins is looking to control Fiasco but Fiasco is wriggling around and keeping busy. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rollins misses with a punch to the head. Fiasco grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Fiasco is trapped and Rollins is scoring with shots to the head and body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rollins is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Fiasco has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Rollins has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Fiasco taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Rollins doesn't care though - he's delighted!
