Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Richard Kuklinski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Beauvais! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kuklinski is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Beauvais tries to clinch up but Kuklinski circles away and keeps his distance. Kuklinski avoids a punch combination nicely.
Beauvais throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kuklinski connects with a nice looking jab.
Beauvais shoots in and drives through. Kuklinski sprawls well. No joy there for Beauvais, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Beauvais throws a right hand that Kuklinski ducks under and follows up with a left that Kuklinski also avoids with ease. Beauvais has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kuklinski. Beauvais tries to clinch but Kuklinski moves out of range. Kuklinski scores with a nice right hand.
Beauvais tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. A head kick by Beauvais misses and Kuklinski counters with a good low kick that Beauvais was not able to check. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Beauvais throws the kick towards the body but Kuklinski avoids it. Kuklinski avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Good exchange - Kuklinski coming out on top. Kuklinski scores with a nice head shot. Beauvais takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Kuklinski lands with a hook. Beauvais tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Kuklinski swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Beauvais. Kuklinski is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Beauvais ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kuklinski moves away. Kuklinski lands with a cross. Beauvais is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Good exchange - Kuklinski coming out on top. This has been an exciting period of action! Beauvais misses with a few strikes there.

Beauvais takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beauvais shoots in for a takedown but Kuklinski shows good takedown defense. Beauvais changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kuklinski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Who's going to make the next move? Beauvais wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kuklinski keeps working. Kuklinski tries to buck Beauvais off but Beauvais is having none of it. Beauvais throws an elbow but Kuklinski slips to the side and avoids it well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Beauvais tries to stand but Kuklinski is controlling his head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beauvais stands up and beckons Kuklinski to his feet. Kuklinski lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Beauvais is looking to clinch. Kuklinski fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Beauvais fails with the takedown. Richard Kuklinski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Beauvais. Kuklinski stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Beauvais takes one on the button. Beauvais misses with a double jab
and Kuklinski counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beauvais's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kuklinski connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Beauvais scrambles back to his feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kuklinski, as that shot connected.
Kuklinski lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kuklinski connects with a solid leg kick. Beauvais looks to land a left hand but Kuklinski moved out of range nicely. Kuklinski scores with a crisp jab that stopped Beauvais in his tracks. Kuklinski with a jab. Beauvais has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Kuklinski keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Beauvais doesn't manage to clinch there - Kuklinski circles away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Beauvais throws a leg kick that is checked and Kuklinski counters with a head kick. That will keep Beauvais thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Kuklinski uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Beauvais.

Richard Kuklinski dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Beauvais throws a leg kick and Kuklinski counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Richard Kuklinski is winning the standup battle so far. Kuklinski connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Beauvais tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Beauvais clinches up against the cage. Kuklinski lands a shoulder strike. Kuklinski tries to pull guard but Beauvais holds him up against the cage and eventually Kuklinski drops back down to his feet.
Beauvais looking for a takedown. Kuklinski is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Beauvais to keep the fight standing. Kuklinski digs a right hand underneath Beauvais's ribcage. Beauvais let out a lung full of air as it connected. Beauvais goes for a takedown attempt but Kuklinski pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Kuklinski tries to sprawl out of it but Beauvais keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. and Kuklinski counters with a stiff right hand. Beauvais throws a combination that misses and Kuklinski counters with a stiff right hand. Beauvais is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Good shot there by Kuklinski. Beauvais takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Beauvais gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Kuklinski connects with the punch. Kuklinski lands with a kick to the temple. Beauvais shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Beauvais is rocked! Richard Kuklinski is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Beauvais walks forward, straight into a front kick from Kuklinski. Beauvais is still on wobbly legs! Can Kuklinski finish him? A chopping leg kick lands by Kuklinski. Beauvais seems to have recovered his senses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kuklinski clobbers Beauvais with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Kuklinski keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Beauvais shoots in and bounces Kuklinski off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Kuklinski pushes a forearm under Beauvais's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Beauvais is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
