Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ras Putten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Putten comes to the cage accompanied by Aish Tamid by Matisyahu. Ras Putten has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ras Putten! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Frank Reynolds! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Putten misses with a head kick.
Reynolds wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Reynolds connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Reynolds throws a one two combo.
A looping hook to the body misses from Reynolds. Putten does a little dance to reset his feet. Putten throws a head kick but Reynolds moves out of range.
Putten doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Putten keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Reynolds fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Reynolds lands a lovely overhand right. Reynolds lands a jab to the nose. A decent looking cross lands there for Reynolds. Reynolds checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. A head kick misses from Putten. Reynolds moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Reynolds works the jab nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reynolds swats away the attempt to clinch by Putten. Reynolds throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Putten tries to close the distance and clinch up but Reynolds swats him away and circles back towards the center. Reynolds moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Putten looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Reynolds connects with the punch.
Putten is rocked! Frank Reynolds seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reynolds punishes Putten's body with a nice straight punch. Oh Putten is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Reynolds scores with a slapping inside leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Reynolds throws an overhand right that drops Putten like a sack of potatoes! Reynolds dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Reynolds! Frank Reynolds retains his lightweight title! Frank Reynolds seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
