The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Doon is defended easily by Fighten.
Fighten misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Doon shoots in but no luck this time.
Fighten throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Fighten clinches up with Doon and pushes him back against the cage.

Fighten ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Fighten no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Doon wants to stand but Fighten has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Doon is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fighten is aware though and is defending well.

Doon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fighten doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fighten manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Doon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fighten can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Fighten wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Doon's closed guard. He's half up but Doon has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Doon pivots and extends the arm, Fighten falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Doon! Well done that man!
