Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ben Doon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dun Fighten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dun Fighten will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Doon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dun Fighten! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Doon is defended easily by Fighten. Fighten misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Doon shoots in but no luck this time. Fighten throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Fighten fails to land with a series of punches.
Doon shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Doon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fighten clinches up with Doon and pushes him back against the cage. Fighten working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Fighten ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Fighten no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Fighten keeping moving, preventing Doon from controlling successfully. Doon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doon wants to stand but Fighten has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Doon wants to stand and escape but instead Fighten has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Doon trying to control the position here. Doon is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fighten is aware though and is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fighten doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fighten manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Doon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fighten can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Fighten wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Doon's closed guard. He's half up but Doon has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Doon pivots and extends the arm, Fighten falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Doon! Well done that man!
