Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between KC Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Koture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cooper kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Renegade by Jay-Z & Eminem. Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Randy Koture told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, KC Cooper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Randy Koture!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koture misses with a left hand
and Cooper counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Koture looks gassed!
Cooper scores with a hook to the body. Koture takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Cooper feints a jab promting Koture to slip. Cooper then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Koture slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cooper shoots in for a takedown but Koture shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cooper lands with a nice combination. Koture backs away looking to recover.
That has opened up Randy Koture's cut even more.
Cooper with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Cooper misses with a double jab.
Cooper lands a body shot.
Koture throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cooper counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Cooper connects with a right hand. Koture shakes it off.
Cooper works the jab nicely.
Cooper throws a nice looking combination but Koture bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cooper fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cooper lands a jab to the head.
The cut above Randy Koture's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Koture gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Cooper works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Koture is rocked!
Cooper shoots in but Koture avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Koture is still on wobbly legs! Can Cooper finish him?
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for KC Cooper. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cooper connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Koture's hands.
Cooper shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Koture as he avoids it easily.
Cooper scores with a punch to the head.
Randy Koture seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cooper scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
BOOM! Cooper lands a beautiful left hook that drops Koture. Koture tries to recover but Cooper is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Koture lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). KC Cooper!
Our winner, KC Cooper, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
