Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shiah Coore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Koki Smokey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shiah Coore has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Shiah Coore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Koki Smokey!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smokey fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Coore misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Coore slaps away a takedown attempt from Smokey, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Smokey tries to close the distance and clinch but Coore swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Smokey keeps the fight on the outside.
Smokey shoots in looking for a takedown but Coore manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Smokey's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Shiah Coore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Koki Smokey.

Coore bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Coore tries to hold on but Smokey pushes him away.
Smokey is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Coore has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Coore!
Coore slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Coore creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Smokey sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Coore wants to control but Smokey is keeping him busy.
Smokey is looking to reverse the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Coore wants to stand but Smokey is controlling his arm.
Smokey wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Coore tries to clinch but Smokey is having none of it.
Nice takedown defense from Smokey. No joy for Coore on that attempt.
Smokey changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Coore tries to avoid it but Smokey manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Coore to the ground. Coore escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Smokey fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Coore avoids it really well and circles away.
Smokey shoots in and drives through. Coore sprawls well.

Coore throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smokey's waist but Smokey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Coore off to one side.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Coore, as that shot connected.
Coore lands with a nice combination. Smokey backs away looking to recover.
Smokey shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Coore defends it nicely.
Coore tries to clinch but Smokey moves out of range.
Coore closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Smokey to the mat! Smokey manages to get full guard.
Smokey wants to stand up but Coore is controlling him.
Coore will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Coore wants to control from the top but Smokey keeps moving.
Coore pushes down on Smokey's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Coore is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Smokey sees it coming and defends easily.

Coore is stalling here. Smokey is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Coore seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Smokey has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close second round but I would say that Shiah Coore will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Koki Smokey comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Smokey has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
