The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gutz jabs at Ortiz's body.
Ortiz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The fighters circling - Gutz throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Gutz tries to bum rush Ortiz with a series of wild strikes but Ortiz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gutz misses with an uppercut.
Gutz thows a left - swing and a miss!
A looping hook to the body misses from Gutz. Ortiz does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gutz misses with a left hand
and Ortiz counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ortiz avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ortiz tries to clinch but Gutz moves out of range.
Gutz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ortiz shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gutz but Gutz pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ortiz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gutz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gutz swinging wildly here.
Gutz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gutz throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ortiz was covering up waiting for the punch and Gutz finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Ortiz is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gutz is aware though and is defending well.
Ortiz looking for a triangle here. Gutz is fighting it but it looks tight! Ortiz pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Gutz is tapping out - this one is all over!
