Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 88 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cottontail Rabbit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Silva!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rabbit pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Rabbit enables Silva to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rabbit manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Silva drops back looking for a leg! Rabbit is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rabbit manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Rabbit's guard.
Silva in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Silva engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Silva pushes down on Rabbit's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rabbit is just riding it out for now. Silva eventually gives up the hold.
Silva wants to work for an arm triangle but Rabbit is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Rabbit knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.
Silva has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Rabbit defend it? Silva steps over the head and cranks it - Rabbit is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Silva!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jose Silva!
Jose Silva very nearly forgot to thank Hell's Balls Recovery (160) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
