1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Doug Rhea! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Green connects with the punch.
It looks like Doug Rhea has been cut. Green throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rhea sees it coming and avoids it easily. Rhea dives in and scores a takedown into Green's guard. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Rhea has eaten all the pies! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Rhea postures up.

Rhea slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Rhea drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Green dives on top into guard. Green avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Green thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Rhea escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Green gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Green seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rhea does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Rhea keeping hold of Green's head, controlling as best he can. Rhea moves into full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rhea can do anything to dispel that myth. Green throws a strike but Rhea rolls with it and manages to sweep. Green manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Rhea has his foot on Green's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Green works his way back into a safe position though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rhea is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Rhea advances to half guard. Green is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Green avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rhea. Green is trying to control but can't.

Doug Rhea showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Doug Rhea's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Rhea uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Green.
Green throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rhea sees it coming and avoids it easily. Green tests Rhea's chin there with a solid looking shot. Green misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Green connects with a body shot. Green changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Green jabs at Rhea's body. Green gets caught napping as Rhea dives in and scores a takedown. Green manages to retain guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rhea postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Green controls Rhea momentarily but Rhea frees himself. Rhea must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Shawn Green just wasn't active enough. Good exchange - Green coming out on top. Rhea shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Green stuns Rhea with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. A punch combination from Green misses. Green fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rhea shoots in looking for a takedown but Green manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rhea's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Doug Rhea is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Green throws a good cross that connects.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Green lands an overhand right. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Green gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Green is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Green looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Rhea has picked Green up and slammed him! Green can't keep hold of the triangle and Rhea manages to pass to side control! An elbow from Rhea crashes against the mat.
Rhea is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Green's shoulder. That is not cool. Green sneaks back into half guard. Green regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rhea thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Rhea wants to control from the top but Green keeps moving. Rhea has gone for a leg lock! Green slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rhea's guard. Rhea throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Green escapes and throws Rhea's legs to the side, diving into side control! Rhea is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Green is looking to take a break and control but Rhea is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Green working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Green tries to advance to mount but Rhea denies him. Rhea isn't going anywhere. Rhea struggling a bit here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rhea tries to get back to half guard but can't.
And that's the end of the fight! Shawn Green showed his dominance in that final round. I think Rhea has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
