Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kamryn Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mihail Sviridov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bullet In My Hand by Redlight King. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kamryn Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mihail Sviridov!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Valeri Chadov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black throws a right and a left that Sviridov avoids nicely.
Sviridov walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Sviridov fails with the takedown
and Black counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Black gets caught flat footed, as Sviridov shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Black looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sviridov is one step ahead there.
Sviridov won't allow Black to get back to his feet.
Black on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Black tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Black not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We're going to have a standup here because Kamryn Black wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Black moves into range and connects with a jab.
No joy there for Black, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Black throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sviridov counters with a shoot takedown. Black fights it but they end up in guard.
Sviridov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Black works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Black wants to sweep but no luck.
Sviridov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Black is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Sviridov drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Black manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sviridov has Black in his guard.
Black might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Black lands a couple of elbows.
Black trying to control the position from guard on top but Sviridov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sviridov has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Black doesn't defend quickly enough and Sviridov has managed to lock this one up! Can Black escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Sviridov on a fantastic submission victory.
