1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fedor Jose Emelianenko Junior! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alipunga Buni! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, John Kavanagh and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emelianenko Junior changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Buni looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Emelianenko Junior in side control lands a decent elbow. Emelianenko Junior lands a few punches from side control. Buni tries to bench press Emelianenko Junior off him but Emelianenko Junior keeps the position. Buni is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Emelianenko Junior cracks Buni with a big right hand but Buni just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Buni taking punishment in the form of punches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Emelianenko Junior creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Emelianenko Junior working the head with strikes. Buni is rocked! Emelianenko Junior scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Buni is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Emelianenko Junior can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
