The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Martin, pushing him back against the cage.
Emelianenko breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Martin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Emelianenko scores with a hook to the body. Martin takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Martin looks gassed!
Emelianenko lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Martin at a distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Martin takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Emelianenko lands a big right hand that sends Martin crashing to the mat! Emelianenko stays standing though and waves Martin back to his feet!
It looks like Keith Martin has been cut.
Alistair Emelianenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Emelianenko gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Emelianenko takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Emelianenko connects with a nice cross there... Martin is looking wobbly and Emelianenko recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Martin to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Emelianenko jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
