Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Lancing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Trout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kevin Trout has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aaron Lancing! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Trout! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trout feints and as Lancing raises his hands in defense, Trout changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Lancing trying to control the position.
Lancing wants to sweep here but Trout controlling him for the moment. Trout won't allow Lancing to get back to his feet. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lancing is on top in guard.
Trout is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lancing looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lancing stopping the sweep attempt from Trout. Lancing trying to control but Trout is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Aaron Lancing wasn't doing enough on the ground. Lancing clinches up against the cage. Trout ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Trout no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lancing trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Trout manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Lancing trying to control the position.
Lancing wants to get back to his feet but Trout is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Trout trying to control the position from guard on top but Lancing is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Trout has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lancing is proving hard to escape from. Lancing tries to land a sweep but no joy. Trout must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lancing not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

We're going to have a standup here because Aaron Lancing wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Trout shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lancing manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Trout wants to stand but Lancing is controlling his posture from full guard. Trout looking to sit in guard and control but Lancing gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Trout working a defensive guard here.
Trout really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lancing. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lancing wants to control from the top but Trout keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lancing content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Lancing wants to stand but Trout is controlling his posture from full guard. Trout is looking for a triangle but Lancing pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Trout tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lancing trying to control but Trout is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Aaron Lancing will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Trout. Lancing looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Trout will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kevin Trout seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lancing tries to clinch but Trout moves out of range. A slow jab from Lancing misses its intended target. Horrible takedown by Lancing or perhaps it was just good defense by Trout which made him look bad. Trout takes the fight into the clinch. Lancing tries to break the clinch but Trout is controlling the position. Trout manages to break the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Trout closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lancing circles away. Aaron Lancing has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Trout. Lancing fails with a takedown attempt. Lancing gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Trout to score an easy takedown into full guard. Kevin Trout has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lancing is looking to sweep but instead, Trout has passed into half guard.

Lancing isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Trout stacks Lancing on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Trout! Trout goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Lancing has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Trout but great work by Lancing. Lancing stands up and we're back to a striking position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lancing scores with a nice body kick.

Lancing throws a right hand that Trout ducks under and follows up with a left that Trout also avoids with ease. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lancing tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Trout shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Trout showed some decent athleticism there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lancing is positioning himself well to prevent Trout advancing to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kevin Trout showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Trout clinches up with Lancing and pushes him back against the cage. Trout is trying to trip Lancing. He has hold of a leg but Lancing is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Trout persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Lancing is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Trout won't allow Lancing to get back to his feet. Lancing working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Trout. Trout slips nicely into half guard. Trout sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lancing defending well though. Trout is looking to advance position but Lancing won't allow it. The fighters are battling for position here. Lancing manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lancing pushes Trout off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Trout gets in close and instigates a clinch. Lancing pulls guard effortlessly. Lancing looking to control.
Trout missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lancing wants to sweep but no luck. Lancing keeping moving, preventing Trout from controlling successfully. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Trout stands and steps away. Lancing gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trout looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Lancing shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Trout as he jumps to the side. Excellent takedown into side control there by Trout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Trout working the ground and pound from side control. Trout trying to control the position but Lancing is working away. Lancing is trying to get back to half guard. Trout decides to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trout pushes Lancing up against the cage in a clinch. Lancing is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Trout pulls him back up using the underhooks. Trout turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Trout manages to end up in side control. Lancing tries to buck Trout off but Trout is having none of it. Trout working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Both fighters take a look at the clock. Trout thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trout creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Lancing manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Trout is trying to maintain the position but Lancing is very close to passing his half guard. Lancing controlling the pace. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that's the end of the fight! Kevin Trout comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Trout has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
