The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Diggler is fending him off so far but jones persists. Nope, Diggler circles away and we're back to standing.

Diggler drags the fight down to the ground.
jones wants to stand but Diggler is controlling his posture from full guard.
jones gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Diggler throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Diggler throws a series of punches but jones avoids them all with ease.
jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
jones moves in looking to clinch but Diggler pushes him off.

Diggler misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That was a close round but I would say that bash jones will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Diggler connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
jones feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
jones stands and steps away. Diggler gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
